Lux is a lovely female who through no fault of her own is available to the right family. She is highly intelligent/biddable, high drive dog that would be best suited in a performance home where she can be loved and trained to do everything she is capable of. She has an off button and is a great house dog.  

Her field training was started by Gary Riddle of Rockey's Kennel.  She was steady for her Junior Hunter and while I could have skipped Junior and put her in Senior, I preferred for her to just have fun during this time. 

She got her Canine Good Citizen and Trick Dog Novice titles at one year old.  While I would love to continue her training, I found myself in a position (of getting old) and needing to downsize my kennel.  I have chosen to keep a puppy out of her and Woody: Salmon Creek Gilded Rose aka "Gilda".

Mabellene is 2nd generation (Crumpet x Conor), mother to Savvy.  She is a truly natural hunting dog: retrieves to hand, water retrieves, but best of all - when on a runner, she will wait for you to catch up to make sure your shot is in range.  Mabellene begs to be taught a job.  It took less than a month to train her for Rally Obedience where she titled and placed 2nd and titled in one weekend. We will start training her for other AKC events after she is done breeding.
